The 2nd Annual Bark for Your Heart
1K/5K fun run/walk with your dog,

Please join us for a day of fun in the sun
with your canine best friend!
All dogs must be on leash at all times,
and have proof of Rabies vaccination.
Check in time 7:45 - 8:45 AM

Heart of the Matter is a new program supporting our armed forces in the Sacramento area with foster care for their pets. When our troops deploy, they not only leave the two-legged members of their families behind, but their four-legged family members as well. Going directly to the Heart of the Matter, our little four-legged family members need help too.
We have a 1K walk/run that is on flat terrain, wheelchair and stroller accessible.
The 5K walk/run will be on the road and there may be some vehicle traffic, so please use caution and stay in a single file line on the side of the road.
Rattlesnakes do live at the park, so please be cautious while in the area.
The Folsom Lake SRA Parking fee is $10.
With your sign up, you will receive a link to crowdrise.com to help you raise additional funds to support our cause.
Last year's event raised funds to help many pets in need,including the Placer SPCA SOS funds, Banfield HOPE funds, UCD Mercer Clinic, Placer County Animal Shelter, and the Sacramento Pet Food Bank.
